Aluminium backing plate used for fixing Datum plates to structures such as posts and stanchions.

Simply thread the Steel or nylon banding through the holes to the rear of the plates and strap the Backing Plate to the structure. 

The backing plates have 4 male fixing points which work hand in hand with the 4 female fixing points on the rear of the Datum plates
